This year, amid joys and regrets, hopes and disappointments we have come to conclude this year of our families and our community. Of course, it could be better for everyone, but in reflection Christmas, one must remember those who are worse off than us, and that our problems are a small fraction of those in which he struggles a huge slice of the human race.
We must not forget that in too many places in the world there are wars, poverty, hunger, insecurity in the future. Of course, this makes us a bit 'more sad, but it would be wrong to think, selfishly, just that we believe, is not misplaced, we are well and we are lucky. A couple of aspects of this past year, I like to remember. First the great vitality of our community, with many volunteers who have contributed, with many events, a very busy social life, where everyone, from kids to senior citizens, has made its commitment. In their heartfelt thanks. Another aspect, that is unfortunately not positive, has been the increasing restriction of financial resources that has led us to manage the "current" avoiding the possibility of self-financing investments, some of which were still required. In the meantime we have provided many small to accommodate situations requiring urgent action and I can assure you that the road to the maintenance of communal property, from the social to the proper functioning of the offices, the costs are constant each year and adding achieves good figures. Patience will be better times, times when we can manage a part of our own resources and where the Municipal Budget will not sip for every euro it ends later this year.
conclude this very brief flash, sending best wishes to my fellow citizens for a peaceful Christmas and New Year that will fulfill every wish, for all.
The Mayor, Enzo Fozzano
